WELS National Civilian Chaplain
As WELS’ national civilian chaplain and liaison to the military, Pastor Paul Ziemer maintains regular contact with many WELS troops and their families. He orients, trains, and mentors new WELS military contact pastors. Military Services offers military contact online training resources and regularly conducts training conferences for them. European Chaplaincy
Our WELS European civilian chaplain is based in Spiesheim, Germany. He serves people in a number of German cities, but also travels to Italy, England, and Switzerland. Military Contact Pastors
When you or a loved one is stationed stateside, a nearby WELS pastor and congregation are ready to serve with Word and Sacraments.
